Sign-ups will begin on the patio on March 9. We will be asking for volunteers to assemble the kits. We also need monetary donations to purchase the materials for the kits.

We will be staying in Wrightwood again this year. Cost is $175 per person age 11 and older; $75 per person for kids 10 and under.
Registration deadline is February 9.
Our annual charge conference will be held on February 9th at 11:45 a.m. in the sanctuary. We will be voting on the business of the church and updating the congregation on the latest VUMC progress and the status of our growth. All are invited and welcome to attend.
VUMC youth will be taking a special offering after each service to benefit local food banks.

On Election Day, communion is being offered between 7 and 7:30 a.m. and from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m. Joint worship with Santa Clarita UMC will be held at 7 p.m. on the Valencia UMC Campus, featuring praise bands from both churches.

Please join Valencia UMC for a Rise Against Hunger Meal Packaging Event, in the movement to end hunger by the year 2030. We are seeking donations to cover the cost of the 10,000 meals we will be packaging. Each meal costs 38 cents, so we need to raise $3800. We will be assembling the meals on October 6. Check back for a link to volunteer and/or to donate.

Our annual "Keepin' It Local" Fundraiser is set for Sunday, September 15 beginning at 2:30 p.m. You won't want to miss out on this fun time and help raise funds for VUMC!
We will meet at church to check in, join up with your team and get instructions. This year we will be sampling four local small business restaurants and doing a scavenger hunt around town.
At 5:30 teams will return to church for yard games, team trivia contest. social time and Silent Auction. Prizes will be given for the team trivia contest.
Each team will have 10 people. Teams require 2-3 drivers. You can form your own team or we will put you on a team. All ages are welcome, everyone requires a ticket to participate. (Childcare will be provided for children for the duration of the event.)
