Music & Drama Ministries
Music and drama enhance our worship experience every week, and there’s a place for everyone to participate, from children to youth to adults. No prior training is required for most of the opportunities listed below.
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir sings weekly for the 9 a.m. worship and on other special occasions. Everyone is welcome to join, no auditions required. The choir enjoys fellowship at an annual retreat in October/November and a Christmas/holiday party, and participates in local choral festivals such as the Festival of Worship at the cathedral in downtown L.A., or at NACM festivals in Orange County, Long Beach, San Fernando Valley, etc.

Worship Band
Our worship band leads modern worship at 10:30 a.m. worship and other special occasions. Substitute musicians are utilized frequently and are selected from a pool of auditioned applicants. To audition, please click below to contact Worship Leader Christine Mocha.

The Chancel Bells ensemble participates in worship several times during the year.

Fire in the soul
Currently on hiatus: A choir for junior and senior high school youth, Fire in the Soul sings in worship several times per year, including the Advent Celebration, Christmas concert, Christmas Eve, Mother’s Day, and Music Appreciation Sunday. The choir also occasionally prepares dramas for use in worship.

kidzone worship TEam
A choir for children from second through sixth grade, the KidZone Worship Team leads worship for the 10:30 a.m. Sunday school. If your child is interested in this program, please contact Sherry Klahs.
