We are LGBTQI Affirming
In the 1990s our previous pastor, Rev. Pete Falbo led us through a process of understanding the LGBTQI community. Out of that experience, our church leadership affirmed that all are God’s children and all LGBTQI persons are welcome and affirmed in our community.
More recently, our denomination - the United Methodist Church - has struggled with the issue of inclusion, but our congregation (as well as the United Methodist Church in the Western United States) continues to affirm LGBTQI inclusion.
