Parking

The church parking lot can be entered from McBean (going north) or Avenida Navarre. There should be ample parking, however in the event of an overflow, please park in the Henry Mayo Hospital parking lot across the street. There are visitor parking spaces available just to the side of the church entrance steps.

Greeters

In the front of the courtyard before entering the sanctuary, you’ll see a Welcome Table with greeters ready to answer any questions you may have or direct you to Nursery Care, our Sunday School facilities, etc.

Church School

Children of all ages are welcome to join in our worship services. Sunday School classes are available during both worship hours.  At 9:00, kids meet in the classrooms for the full hour.  At 10:30, kids are dmissed from the Sanctuary following the opening songs.

Nursery/Toddler Care Center

Our Nursery/Toddler Care Center is committed to providing a safe, nurturing place for infants and toddlers to receive care while their parents attend worship and classes.

Communion

Valencia United Methodist celebrates Communion on the first Sunday of a month or a special service. Everyone is welcome at the Lord’s Table. Grape juice is used rather than wine. Communion is generally done through intinction… dipping your piece of bread into the Cup.

Coffee on the Patio

After the service, the pastor stands by the doors of the Sanctuary to exchange greetings. We invite you to introduce yourself to the Pastor and mention that you are a newcomer. On the patio as you step out of the sanctuary doors, you’ll find coffee, lemonade, doughnuts and other goodies on a table all under a tan canopy. Also in the courtyard you’ll see information tables where you can find out about church activities, sign up for small groups, and pick up literature that may be of interest.
