Here at Valencia United Methodist Church we emphasize the importance of Small Groups. Small Groups are made up of 10-12 people who gather regularly to grow in relationships with each other and grow in relationship with Christ.

These Small Groups form the relationships that make a difference in your spiritual growth and these are the people who are “there” for you when the tough times hit. You don’t need to be a member of the church to be in a small group. In many cases small groups met in individual homes as well as on the church property. Very often babysitting is available in the church nursery during small group meeting times.

Small Groups often meet for a specific time period such as 6 or 8 weeks. There are also several ongoing groups that meet all year round. Small Groups are often topical in nature, involve Bible study and prayer as well as time for fellowship.

Small Groups are forming at virtually all times of the year. However, we do have two major offerings of new small groups each year. – August and January. You can watch for these special offerings or you can email sklahs@umcv.org or call 255-1301 x103 to find out what small groups are forming at any given time.
