Intensive study of 70% of the Bible in 34 weeks. Nightly homework with weekly discussion. Sign up as required.

Music

Chancel Choir:
Rehearses Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. A dedicated group of members who gain a lot of enjoyment through rendering praise to God.

Chancel Bells:
Rehearses Tuesdays from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. A group for both youth and adults. The bell choir rings approximately once a month for Sunday worship

Volunteers

Prayer Chain:
This group of individuals pray for members of the congregation having special needs.

Scripture Readers:
Read the scripture to the congregation as part of the Sunday worship.

Ushers:
Ushers assist in seating the congregation, collecting the offering, and directing the congregation during communion services.

Guest Information Table:
Provides visitors information in regards to church worship, church functions, and locations of Sunday morning activities.

Helping Pans:
Provides meals for new mothers, those recovering from hospitalization, surgery, illness, etc. on a short term basis.

Coffee Fellowship:
Assist with refreshments between worship hours on Sunday mornings.

Greeters:
Two individuals at each service are needed to welcome both members and visitors to Sunday worship

Drama Ministry:
This group performs skits for our entertainment and to assist in our understanding the Sunday sermon.

Fellowship

Turning Good Times Into Funds (TGIF):
Church fundraisers that vary from restaurants donating a portion of their receipts to special church activities, e.g., Chili Cook-Off, talent shows, auctions.

Senior Ministry
This group is for mature adults who are interested in Christian fellowship activities.

Women

MOPS - Mothers of Preschooler's:
Meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 9:00 to 11:30 am. The purpose of the group is to nurture mothers of preschoolers. Kids meet separately for preschool fellowship with spiritual emphasis.

Women's Prayer and Share:
Women's group that meets every Thursday morning at 9:30.

Women's Literature: Monthly meetings at a member's home to discuss a book chosen by the members to be read that month. Meets the third Monday.

Men

Men's Thursday Morning
Bible Study:
Men's discussion, support group meets Thursdays, 6:30 am.

Monthly Men’s Breakfast:
Breakfast fellowship featuring interesting guest speakers. Promotes Christian fellowship and provides the opportunity for UMM to sponsor church service projects.
